GoReport supplies 30 iPads to Dundalk Institute of Technology

GoReport is proud to announce the supply/provision/delivery/allocation of 30 iPads to Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT), a move aimed at supporting students in the Department of Engineering and the Built Environment. This initiative reflects GoReport’s dedication to supporting the future of surveying by better preparing DkIT students for successful careers in the surveying and built environment sectors

The iPads will be used by students in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, and Architectural Technology programs, providing hands-on experience with digital surveying tools. By integrating GoReport into their learning, students will develop essential skills in data collection, professional reporting, and analysis, giving them a competitive edge as they enter the workforce.

Michelle Hanley, Head of Sales at GoReport, officially handed over the iPads to key staff, including Denise Quigley, Head of the Department of the Built Environment at DkIT. The collaboration is designed to enhance students’ efficiency and accuracy in fieldwork, bridging the gap between academic study and practical application.

To further support the initiative, GoReport conducted a  training and FAQ session for DkIT’s teaching staff, ensuring they are fully prepared to guide students in capturing data using GoReport software effectively in real-world scenarios.

Denise Quigley expressed her excitement about the collaboration:

“We are delighted to collaborate with GoReport to bring this state-of-the-art technology to DkIT. The iPads will be hugely beneficial to our students, helping them develop their surveying skills more efficiently and effectively and making the reporting process easier while providing them with valuable experience using professional tools.”

Michelle Hanley emphasised GoReport’s commitment to supporting the next generation of industry professionals:

“GoReport is thrilled to collaborate with Dundalk Institute of Technology in supporting the next generation of surveyors and built environment professionals. This partnership is a fantastic opportunity to empower students with the tools and skills they’ll need to excel in their careers. We’re proud to play a role in enhancing their learning experience and supporting the future of the industry.”

GoReport would like to thank the team at DkIT for their warm welcome and dedication to making this collaboration a success. This partnership is a significant step in helping students gain the practical experience they need to thrive in the construction and built environment sectors, where digital tools are becoming essential for productivity and precision.
