Heritage and Conservation Survey
Historic Buildings often present interesting challenges for surveyors given the unique nature of many properties, the materials and methods of construction used. Although the methodology and scope is often the same as surveying a more traditional or common asset or property, the surveyor sometimes requires more flexibility to describe and document detailed issues that are discovered.
GoReport customers, whether surveying historic residential or commercial buildings, benefit from all the advantages of digital data collection and reporting but with the ability to create bespoke data collection and reporting that best reflects their experience and service offering. The ability to describe the uniqueness of a property and present in a high quality output enables their clients to make informed decisions about remedial action and likely performance of the asset.
Our digital surveying software allow surveyors to concentrate on the details of building e.g. the building fabric, damp and timber defects and capture their findings on a mobile device using a range of techniques including dictation, typing, notes and a library of your commonly used phrases. As many photos as desired can be included, complete with annotation to highlight key information. See our Features page for a full list of software features.
Once you have completed your on-site inspection, upload to the secure GoReport Web Portal for final reflection, edit and review before publishing to a fully formatted output, ready to be distributed to your client. Typical reports include recommendations suggesting the best methods for dealing with issues, budget costs for treatment, preventative measures etc.
Data collection and Report templates are most often custom built in collaboration with you to your exact requirements by our vastly experienced team.
