This Tuesday saw GoReport deliver an insightful and thought provoking technology briefing to a selection of the UK’s senior property professionals in Church House, Westminster. The guest list included representation from national and international organisations such as CBRE, Savills, Malcolm Hollis, Atkins and the industry professional body, RICS, amongst others.
The briefing delivered by GoReport Chairman, David Bell and CEO, Mike Llewellyn covered how new developments in technology are currently impacting the property sector and how technological change will continue to impact the role of the surveyor in the future. David Bell captivated the audience when he spoke about the increasing value and importance of data in the property sector and the opportunity this presents surveyors to gain competitive advantage. A representative from RICS commented after the briefing: “IT & data, with the potential to add value is one of the key issues going forward for the property sector and I think GoReport’s products are very well poised in this respect.”
The presentation included looking at how companies within the industry are deciding upon, planning for, managing and successfully deploying these new and emerging technologies within their organisations. Some of the new technology being used in GoReport’s surveying solutions was showcased, including ground breaking voice to text functionality.
